At this time, both a  live and silent auction is planned for our chapter meeting on the evening of March 13th, 2012 at Fall Creek Falls State Park.

The silent auction will be held by the TTU Student Fisheries Association (SFA), with proceeds going toward their annual kids fishing event, while the proceeds from the live auction will go toward kids fishing events statewide.

For the auctions to be a success we need items, and I’m asking each of you to try and get/donate at least one item.

To help get items, I have attached a “donation request letter” that you can use if need be.

Of course, any items will do, but those that are attractive to “fisheads” and younger college students will do best – carvings, prints, fishing equipment/tackle, guided fishing or hunting trips, and wines are just a few that have done well in the past.

Whatever item(s) you have to donate, please let me know what the item is, and whether it is for the silent or live auction.
